I have many lovely photos from our Wyoming adventure, but I'm too anxious to share what we brought back with us.

I finally found the perfect pair of cowboy boots after scouring all of California and Arizona the past few months. Better yet, I found these great Justin boots for the Pressman at a thrift store for only $12!

Too bad I forgot to photograph the new moccasins he got for me, but I'm sure they'll turn up in an outfit photo soon enough.

I only wish I could carry this Pendelton Wool Camp Blanket with me everywhere I go; but I have a feeling it's going to find a new home in the teepee I'm planning to build in my second bedroom.

An Adventure

I'm trading my vintage dresses and red lipstick for long underwear and hiking boots for the rest of the month (yikes).

A boat, a dress and a sea

It seems like lately I keep unintentionally matching my surroundings.
I'm sure you're tired of boat pictures from me but I just love the way the colors in this dress match the cast of the boat and sea.

A Celebration

 

 

 

I spent Saturday celebrating The Pressman's birthday.

It began with making up my own version of an English breakfast -attempting to copy my grandfathers delicious baked beans, baking popovers and arranging the table with flowers and gifts.

Then, Anna and I joined him aboard the Alma for an afternoon sail. Anna baked delicious flourless chocolate cupcakes with a whiskey glaze.

Afterward, we headed to Edinburgh Castle and Koko's to end the evening surrounded by friends.

A day well spent.
