The Early Bird

For as passionate as I am about vintage, sometimes getting up early for the flea/estate sales proves too much. But Sunday, I managed to drag myself out of bed at 6:30 to make the trip to the Sacramento Flea. At least there was coffee and the New York Times to get me going.
It's important to eat well to maintain strength for a long day at the flea market. After a few hours, we took a break for a hot dog lunch and then headed back to the flea to revisit things we couldn't get out of our minds and to keep our eyes open for things we may have overlooked the first time.
The trip proved to be well worth it! We found this great folding schoolhouse chair, a Juice-O-Mat juicer, a glass plant mister and an old trunk to be refinished. Later that evening, we found this dining chair on our block. I'm not usually one for picking up things found on the street, but I approved of this one.
